A shop or a bar is judged in seconds. Fine joinery is what makes it feel considered — and what makes it last the trade it takes.
We fit out shops, showrooms, bars, cafés and salons — shopfronts, counters, back-bars, display cabinetry and fixed seating — made in our Poole workshop and installed by our own joiners.
Shop and retail joinery lives a hard life, so it is built for it: solid timber and veneer, proper carcassing and finishes chosen to take daily use, while still looking like the work of a fine-furniture maker.

Shop & retail fit-out
As shopfitters and joiners, we fit out shops, showrooms and salons from the shopfront to the back wall: the front and its fascia, the counters and tills, the display cabinets and the shelving. It is all made in our Poole workshop and fitted by our own joiners, so one team is responsible for all of it.
A retail fit-out runs to a programme. We plan the installation around your trading hours, work alongside your designer and contractor, and fit out of hours where a shop has to stay open. From our workshop in Poole we take on shop fit-outs across Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset.
Shopfronts & facades
The face of a shop or restaurant is judged from the street. We make timber shopfronts, doors and fascias — and work with heritage frontages — so the exterior sets the tone before anyone steps inside.

Timber shopfronts
A traditional timber shopfront is a piece of architecture in its own right: a stallriser at the base, pilasters either side, a fascia and cornice above, and the glazing and the door between. The timber is drawn for the frontage, made in our workshop and fitted by our own joiners.
On older streets a frontage is often worth repairing rather than replacing. Where parts survive, we take the profiles off them and make new pieces to match, so the front still reads as it was built.

Yes — timber shopfronts, doors and fascias as well as the counters, display joinery and seating inside. We can fit out the whole space, front to back.
Can you work out of hours to keep a shop or bar trading?
Yes. We plan the installation around your trading hours and work to a programme with the contractor and designer, so disruption is kept to a minimum.
Will retail joinery stand up to daily use?
It is built for it — solid timber and veneer, proper carcassing and hard-wearing finishes — while still finished to the standard of our residential work.
Are you shopfitters or joiners?
Both. We are joiners who fit out shops: the shopfront, counters and display joinery are made in our own workshop in Poole and fitted by the people who made them.
