Fitted libraries, studies, media walls and fine cabinetry — one-off room schemes, drawn for the space and made to furniture standard.
Fitted cabinetry should look as though the room was built around it — because, drawn properly, it was.
We make libraries, studies, media walls and alcove cabinetry as bespoke room schemes, not off a catalogue. Each is set out for its wall, with real cornices, adjustable shelving and cabinet work to furniture standard.
Brass picture lights, integrated media, concealed storage and a proper desk are drawn in from the start, so the finished room is calm and resolved to the last detail.
The walnut library on this page is in a house in Branksome Park. The same workshop made the mahogany reception desk at Chewton Glen as one piece of fine furniture. A section of shelving can also be made to open as a hidden bookcase door.

Free-standing fine furniture to the same standard — a burr-walnut and brass-inlaid drinks cabinet, veneer-matched and opening to a mirrored, fitted bar.

Floor-to-ceiling and alcove bookcases, painted or in timber, with adjustable shelves and lit by fine brass picture lights.

Mostly fitted: each library, study or media wall is drawn for its wall and built in, with real cornices and adjustable shelving, to furniture standard. We also make free-standing pieces to the same standard, such as the walnut drinks cabinet on this page.
Can you integrate a television or media into the joinery?
Yes. We frame televisions and media within the cabinetry and styled shelving, with cable management, so the screen sits quietly inside the joinery.
How is the cabinetry finished?
We hand-finish everything — painted, in natural or cerused timber, or a combination — in our workshop and on site.
