Office fit-outs, with the joinery made in our Poole workshop

Whole office fit-outs, or the joinery package within one: reception desks, wall panelling, meeting-room joinery and fitted storage, drawn for the office, made in our Poole workshop and fitted by our own joiners.

MSO Joinery/Commercial fit-out/Office fit-out

We take on whole office fit-outs, as well as the joinery package within one. The joinery, from the reception desk to the panelled meeting room and the fitted storage, is drawn for the office, made in our Poole workshop and fitted by our own joiners, out of hours where the business has to keep working.

An office is a working building first. The reception desk greets visitors and holds the drawers, storage and cabling for the people behind it; a meeting room has to work through a full day of meetings; and the storage has to take what the business keeps and still look considered.

We are joiners first, so the reception desk, the panelling and the storage are made at the bench in our own workshop and fitted by the people who made them, to the same standard as our hotel and residential work.

A whole fit-out, or the joinery package

For a whole office fit-out, we take the project on from the survey and the drawings to the handover, so you have one point of contact and one programme. Tell us about the office and what it needs, and we come back with how we would run it and a guide price.

Where an architect, a designer or a main contractor is running the fit-out, we make and fit the joinery package to their drawings and their programme, adding the workshop detailing that makes it buildable. See commercial & hospitality joinery.

Fitted around the working day

An office fit-out usually has to happen while the business carries on. We plan the installation around your working hours and fit out of hours where the office has to keep running.

The joinery is made and finished in our workshop, so the time on site is spent fitting it. We work to the programme, alongside the architect, the contractor and the interior designer.

Common questions

Office fit-out
Do you take on whole office fit-outs, or only the joinery?

Both. We take on whole office fit-outs, and we also make and fit the joinery package for an office that an architect, designer or main contractor is fitting out: reception desks, wall panelling, meeting-room joinery and fitted storage.

Can you fit out our office while we keep working?

Yes. We plan the installation around your working hours and work out of hours where the office has to keep running. The joinery is made and finished in our workshop, so the time on site is spent fitting it.

Can you work to our designer’s drawings?

Yes. We regularly work to an architect’s or interior designer’s drawings, adding the workshop detailing that makes the joinery buildable, or we draw it from a brief. Either way, you approve set-out drawings and samples before anything is made.

Can a reception desk have a lowered section for wheelchair users?

Yes. A section of the desk can be set at wheelchair height, so a visitor in a wheelchair can sign in and talk to reception face to face. We have built a reception desk with a lowered section, and can draw one into any desk.

Where do you work?

From our workshop in Poole we take on office fit-outs across Poole, Bournemouth and Dorset, and into the New Forest and Hampshire.
